The Heart of Mary will be sponsoring a women's bible study this summer! It'll be similar to our recent lenten study: multiple small groups of women will meet independently and follow the same book study. You'll do lessons at home on your own and discuss with your group when you meet together weekly. We need one women in each group to volunteer as a facilitator (no experience or training needed).
After taking a poll to learn which topics are most relevant to women at this point in time, we have landed on the study: Ordering Your Priorities - Building a Life Well Lived. We hope you can join us for this eight-week study this summer. The cost of the material is $25. See more details at the following link:

Our Monday evening Grief and Loss Support Group has been very successful. As it is best to keep the group small, we may be offering a second daytime group meeting. Please contact the parish office 916-452-4136 ext 2 for more information. All are welcome, wherever you may be on your faith journey. Connect with others coping with loss in a supportive and safe environment. Weekly meetings are guided by a trained facilitator.
Our Parish Funeral Reception Ministry has been dormant for some time. Thanks to volunteer coordinators, Cleo Ner and Eleanor Diaz, we are once again able to offer caring hospitality to grieving families and their friends by offering food and fellowship following Funeral Liturgies. However, they cannot do it alone! We are hoping to have enough volunteers to create a rotating schedule. Volunteers are needed to help with set up, clean up and serving a light luncheon reception in the Parish Hall. The need for help is immediate as the next scheduled funeral reception is Friday, June 14, at 11am. To volunteer speak with one of the coordinators or call the Parish office at 916-452-4136 ext. 2. Thank you!
